In August 2021 our Sister2Sister Project committee sent 300 personal hygiene kits to two girls’ schools in Kenya.  These kits allow the girls to be able to attend school during their monthly periods and remove the adverse impact of extensive school absences. Over two-thirds of the girls gave their lives to Christ!!! This project was completed in partnership with Shalom Outreach, Inc.
A special thanks to Lynchburg Alumnae Chapter of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc., The Mount Vernon Quilter’s Association, and the Atkinson family seamstresses for their support.

Girls excited to receive the hygiene kits made by FOM!
